Naregno Beach stretches nearly 500 metres, with fine sand mixed with small pebbles. Facing east, it is particularly stunning at sunrise.
To the right of the beach, a dense pine forest can easily be reached via a walking trail. This shaded retreat offers a refreshing escape on hot days, with breathtaking views of the picturesque Porto Azzurro bay. The path also leads to Fort Focardo, now used by the Italian Navy. Built by the Spanish in 1678 as a defensive stronghold, the fort forms part of the region's history alongside Fort San Giacomo in Porto Azzurro, located in the well-known Mola Bay.
Our fully equipped private beach with a wharf for small boats is right opposite the hotel; beach facility costs (1 umbrella + 2 sun beds per room, depending on availability, booking them is not possible) are included up to June 16th and from September 16th. For all other periods, beach facility costs start at € 25 per day.
The beach is well-equipped with all necessary facilities, making it ideal for families with children and sports enthusiasts alike. A variety of sports and leisure services are available at Elba Experience 360, right on the beach - these include a diving centre, one of the island's most renowned sailing schools, catamarans, windsurfing, and wing foiling, as well as kayaking excursions and trekking along the southeast coast. Additionally, you can rent motorboats without a licence, pedalos, and e-bikes.
During peak season, a motorboat service (for a fee) runs on Saturday mornings, connecting the beach to Porto Azzurro - perfect for those wanting to visit the town, do a bit of shopping, or explore the weekly market. This service also operates every evening for guests who wish to spend a few relaxed hours in town.
Naregno Beach is also an ideal departure point for boat excursions along the Costa dei Gabbiani, a wild and unspoiled stretch of coastline in Elba's southeast, dominated by Monte Calamita - an area with a rich iron-mining history. This area, one of the island's most remote and untouched, is scattered with hidden coves and secluded beaches, where the crystal-clear waters create a valuable natural habitat. The area is also a breeding ground for many species of wildlife, including yellow-legged gulls, European shags, and birds of prey.
For those interested, the Cristincardo motorboat offers daily excursions (except for Sunday afternoons) to the Costa dei Gabbiani, with swimming stops. Departures are from our beach's small jetty, running from 09:40 to 12:30 and 15:00 to 18:00. Our guests receive a 20% discount.
Only with a direct booking will you get a discount code to buy a ferry ticket at a discount of up to 35% and without paying booking fees
