Naregno beach

Naregno is a sandy, pebble beach, approximately 500 meters long, on the eastern side of the island.
There is a small pine wood on the left that provides some shade during the hottest hours of the day, and opposite the beach you can admire the bay of Porto Azzurro.

Our fully equipped private beach with a wharf for small boats is right opposite the hotel; beach facility costs (1 umbrella + 2 sun beds per room, depending on availability, booking them is not possible) are included up to June 16th and from September 16th. For all other periods, beach facility costs start at €25 per day.

During high season, on Saturday mornings, there is a motor-boat shuttle service that connects the beach with Porto Azzurro, perfect for those who wish to go into the village or do some shopping.

The beach is well equipped with bars, restaurants, bathing establishments. The 'Centro Velico Naregno'(Naregno Sailing Center), where you can take sailing and catamaran lessons, as well as hiring boats or pedalos, is right in the middle of the beach.

Naregno beach is the ideal starting off point for boat trips along the 'Costa dei Gabbiani' , on the south-eastern part of the island, with Monte Calamita towering above it. It is probably one of the least visited and most untouched parts of the island of Elba, with its numerous creeks and tiny, isolated beaches and crystal clear sea rich in many species of fish. The area, once a mining area, is also where many species of birds come to mate, like herring gulls, cormorants and birds of prey.
